19th Triennial Conference in Sardinia, University of Cagliari from June 28 – July 3, 2026: Time and Entanglement
The International Society for the Study of Time (ISST), renowned for its interdisciplinary scope, invites scientists, scholars, artists, and practitioners to explore the theme of “Time and Entanglement” at its 19th Triennial Conference at the University of Cagliari in Sardinia, Italy. Our four-day format of plenary presentations fosters sustained, in-depth discussion among participants. For this reason, we expect participants to register for the full duration of the conference. Midway through the event, we take a day off and provide participants with a selection of time-related excursions in the historic Cagliari area.
The abstract collection and the schedule, including all venues and classrooms for the sessions, are available online. Please carefully check for the latest version, as some shifts may occur during the conference week. You can take a look at the full program in the brochure, and find all the venues indicated on the map. The Conference features an art exhibition at the MUACC and an exciting side program with performances, book exhibition, and of course the Wednesday excursion to Sinis.
The ISST is happy to announce the keynote speakers of the 2026 Conference in Cagliari, Sardinia. Elise Crull and Barbara Adam have accepted our invitation and confirmed giving one keynote speech each. Please find more information here.
